Since you’re already here, I’ll keep it short
and let you know that I have worked with news channels across the world.
I write stories, edit videos, occasionally shoot, and I also do radio pieces
(which includes scripting, recording & reporting the story, and audio editing).
I think the term for this would be broadcast/multimedia journalist?
In my reporting, I have covered a bunch of topics
from politics to pop culture, depending on what the news of the day is.
Though many would say I am a ‘Jack of all Trades’ –
I am currently focusing on editing news packages for TV.

I’ve always wanted to be a journalist, since I was a kid.
I started off with writing articles for my school magazine,
and eventually became one of the editors in high school.
After graduating – I interned at various news organisations while I was in college.
And now, I am working at a news broadcasting agency,
headquartered in Washington D.C.!

When I am not working, you’ll find me playing with cats and dogs,
dancing or just lazing around.
I am also a trained Odissi dancer,
but sometimes I’ll be hula-hooping,
and learning new tricks and dance moves whenever I can.

You might find this blog a tad bit informal – it is.
I have deliberately kept it light and breezy
because I want it to be a reflection of me.
But like myself, I hope this blog will also keep evolving with me.
